Christmas Sale:
We are making crafts to sell at the Christmas Sale on November 12. We will be working every Sunday after church from now through Nov. 6. If you would like to help make ornaments and crafts come any or all Sundays. We will be working in Room 7 from 11:30 - 1 or 1:30. Bring a lunch, we’ll supply pop and chips. We’ll also need youth to sell at the Christmas Sale from 8:45 -2:00. Let me know if you can come and help for an hour or two.
Honey Sunday:
On October 16 we will be selling honey for Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch. This fundraiser raises money for both our youth group and for the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. It’s an easy fundraiser, all we have to do is collect the money and addresses of those who purchase honey. We send it to Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch and they do the rest. We keep a portion of the money and they receive the rest. We will have a table in the narthex that Sunday before and after each of the services. If you can come and sit at the table for any of those times, let me know.
Jr. High Retreat: I had talked to a couple of you about a Jr. High retreat at Walcamp. That is on hold right now. We are looking into other options.
Higher Things: A youth conference for any confirmed or to be confirmed youth. It will be held in July 2012. More information will be coming in November.
Feed My Starving Children: I’m looking into scheduling a date during Christmas Vacation. If you are interested, let me know which week is better for you, the week before or the week after Christmas.
New Year’s Eve Lock-In: If anyone is interested in having another New Year’s Eve Lock-In let me know.
Mats for the Homeless: Last year I got the directions for crocheting plastic bag mats. We never got that started. If anyone is interested let me know and we can try to get it going after the Christmas Sale. I’ll check to see if LWML is still collecting the mats.
Bible Study: Join us for Bible Study on Sundays at 9:15 in Room 9.
